Breitling Emergency Watch

Is the Frequency for the Breitling Watches 1.25 Mg/HZ as a emergency signal & if so, will all services get it.?
Buy the 2007-08 Breitling Book. Also will all the emergency service around thew world receive it, or just in some countries. If you are going to spend $20,000+ on a watch you would think it would be just as they claim.
These types of watches are more jewelry than time pieces. Unless the movements are quartz, they are not very accurate at all. The chronometer nomenclature is really bogus and is completely out of step with electronics quartz accuracy. The Breitling Orbiter 3 with the 121.5 MHz distress frequency (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breitling) really doesn't work as it can't reach the satellite and also satellites are to terminate monitoring of these frequencies by 2009 (http://boatingsailing.suite101.com/article.cfm/phase_out_of_121_5_243_mhz_epirbs). You are better off getting a real EPIRB that works at 406 MHz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_Position-Indicating_Radio_Beacon).
For a dependable and rugged watch, look for 200 m dive with screw on crown and quartz movement for accuracy. Battery should last 10 years. Opening the case to change the battery will compromise the water tight seal and may introduce moisture and cause fogging later. If worry about changing battery too soon, then alternative is Citizen Eco-Drive that last 20 years as it is powered by both internal battery and recharging by solar cell on the face (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eco-Drive). Watch should be less than $200. Wearing anything more is simply a jewelry piece to show off your status.
