Citizen World Timer

If spending 2 days at Disney with family (first-timers), which parks should we visit?
I'm thinking about taking our first trip to Orlando this New Years. I would stay for 5 days, probably 2 days at Disney Parks, 1 at the Kennedy Space Center, 1 at Sea World, and the other at the resort. I I would most likely spend New Year's Eve at Magic Kingdom, but which other park should I visit? Please note, that I will be traveling with a 2-year old, a pregnant wife, and a senior citizen so sights will be a much bigger part of this trip than rides. Thanks
I definitely recommend doing the Magic Kingdom for at least one day. The rides are tame for your pregnant wife and the senior citizen. There are also many more rides for your 2 year old to go on.
The next park I would recommend is Epcot. While it is true that Epcot has a lot of walking, a good majority of it is going to be wandering around the World Showcase. There are 11 different countries there that you can experience. There is shopping, dining, cultural rides (all calm enough for the group of you) and cultural movies. There is plenty of places to sit and people watch. There are also many outdoor performers to watch. While you are in Future World you can wander through Innoventions which is a lot of hands on experiments, and do Spaceship Earth. Spaceship Earth is a slow moving ride, do not confuse it with Mission: Space which has caused many a people to suffer motion sickness... in fact that ride is equipped with barf bags. You can ride through Living with a Land (a greenhouse tour) and make sure you do Turtle Talk with Crush (from Finding Nemo) it is a great little interactive/3D show.
Hollywood Studios is a small park, and a majority of the rides will be too intense for a 2 year old. Some may be a little too intense for your wife, depending on how pregnant "pregnant" is. Even if you were to do every ride there you would be done in a half day.
Animal Kingdom is a lot of walking, and again the rides that they have there aren't really worthy of all the walking and are too intense for little or pregnant ones. Besides that, in order to see the animals you either have to hike trails or go on Kilimajaro Safari which has signs posted that it is a bumpy, bouncy 20 minute ride and little ones and pregnant women are advised not to ride. If your goal is to see animals just head to a local zoo, Sea World or Busch Gardens in Tampa... you'll see more animals and it will be easier on you all.
But, it is your vacation... if you get to Magic Kingdom and love it, there is nothing wrong with going back there two days in a row. With such a variance in people going with you it will likely take you the day to get through it, and even if you make it all the way through in a day there will probably be little things you miss. I understand planning your vacation, but don't plan so much that you don't give yourselves any down time...
