What is the history of the Lucien Piccard Watch Company, especially from 1955-1970?
I am seeing some facinating jewelery pieces by Lucien Piccard in the period from 1955-1970, especially watches. Some of these are beyond rare. It seems that the watch cases had a dating system, but I can find nothing on this once well known maker. Would appreciaie help. May write article or eventually even book. Thanks
Well, I couldn't find much online, but you may want to contact some antique dealers and see what they know. From what I found, Lucien Piccard was a VERY well-known watch maker who began his work in the 1920s. The company still exists today, but the older work is much more valuable than the modern work.
