I got my boyfriend of a year and a half a watch for Valentines day...Is that ok?

It's the Nixon watch from Zoomies with the white gunmetal and the checkerboard pattern on the face...I was buying clothes for him the other day there and asked him what else he wanted and he said all he really needed was a watch, but I didn't have enough money on me at the time to get it for him. It's only $100 dollars, so I feel like that's kind of cheap...I don't know. Advice? Imputs? Thank you, it's much appreciated (:
