Vintage Omega D2 B&W enlarger will not enlarge. Has cold light, not condensers. tried diff. lenses. help?
Image only clear when smaller than negative size. My first large format enlarger. Trying to develop 35mm using 50mm lens as manual suggests. What am I missing?

What we know is you have a cold light, used mostly by portrait photographers (softens apparent grain), You are using the correct lens for the format of the film you are attempting to enlarge.
The question I have is this. What do you mean "clear" and why are you trying to make a print smaller than 36x24 mm. That is a tiny print.
Have you adjusted the bellows between the negative carrier and lens. Depending upon the lens and format of the negative the bellows will have to be extended or collapsed.
