At what point is it that Wild Child wears the black leather uniform?

Was this for a promo/card, or did he really wear that outfit while he didn't have a shaved head? I thought it was in Alpha/Gamma Flight era but all the comics I can find is a different outfit and with a shaved head.
That image is from the story arc that takes place in Wolverine Vol. 3 #50-55 (the current series) when Wild Child was working for Romulus. If I remember right it was issue 53 which came out in early 2007.
