Antoni Norbert Patek is a pocket watch designer back at those times. His dedication for watches found him a friend and a companion Franciszek Czapek an immigrant to his hometown Poland. Their partnership moved on for years up to 1844 when they decided to go different ways. A year after Antoni Norbert Patek found new partner named Adrien Philippe.

Adrien Philippe is a watchmaker from France. Adrien Philippe also invented the so called "keyless winding mechanism". Because of their very good chemistry and their unparalleled watch making talent, after about a year, they agreed to launch their company named after them, the Patek Philippe and Co.

Because of their talent they were able to launch their initial wristwatch in 1868. Their watches have exclusive intricacies. Intricacies that brand them a pioneer for complicated, exact, and precise watches. Patek Philippe stuffed their watches with many features- they created the prepetual calendar, chronograph, a very special minute repeater and split seconds hand.
