Why did my watch face change color ?

I don't want mean answers. I have a Rolex Stainless & 18kt. The face went from blue to tan. I had it repainted within 1 week it turned green then black. I had it painted again now it's a ugly brownish gray. It is waterproof. No one can tell me why?! Has this ever happened to anyone and what fixed it?

Maybe it isn't waterproof?
