Should I lie about how much money I make?

I've always been a decent man and I find it very hard not to be upfront and honest with women. The problem is a lot of women don't appreciate me for who I am. I'm flirting with the idea of lying to women about how much money I make. I honestly think I would get further in my relationships this way. I make a decent living and I could easily buy more expensive clothes and drive a nicer car. I am also flirting with the idea of buying a used Rolex and getting flashier posessions and see how much difference it makes in "breaking the ice" with women.

I'm not trying to get married or anything like that. I'm just talking about going on dates. I can justify my behavoir by thinking that women shouldn't care about how much money I make, so if they are attacted to me because of my false image it's their own darn fault. They deserve it.

Is this immoral?

Lying is always immoral in some way.

But if lying helps you get what you want from dates and it doesn't affect anything else negatively, than go for it.
