for those of you who answered james T question...?
bleaching hair means to decolourise the natural pigment in the hair, it does not "wash out" as some of you put it, neither does it "turn hair white" that is also a myth, also it doesn't mean "orange hair for darker haired people" no matter how light you are starting off at it will still go through the same stages during the lightening process as we ALL have the same natural pigment in our undertones. people with natural black hair may take more than 1 bleaching though as they will have more levels to lift than someone with natural dark blonde hair, now please refer to this swatch of the stages of bleaching and learn something before giving people BAD explanations: http://photobucket.com/albums/j157/platinum_girly/shades.jpg
