Does anyone know a lot about the Detail on Elphaba's costumes from WICKED?
I'm making the second act dress from 'fun' (yeah...some fun. It's torture right now.) and I have a few questions. If you have EXTREMELY detailed photos, those would be appreciated, too!
1-Is the bodice(top) attached to the skirt so that it is a full dress or is it detached to make a skirt and a bodice?
2- Are the layers in the skirt lace and fabric or colored fabric and A LOT of black ruffles?
3- Are the fabric swatches (those are the strips of fabric) on the bodice actually velvet?
4- (You don't have to answer this one) Is the corset built into the dress or is it separate?
Ok....REALLY important, I need to know about whether the top is made of velvet. That's what I'm most concerned with right now, but I still need all of the other questions answered if someone sees something wrong.

Oh...and the ruffles:
Black fabric or black lace. Right now, I'm making it out of lace, but if it's wrong I want to know.
