I went blonde but the dye did nothing to my bottom layer...?
Ok so I have naturally mousy brown/blonde hair... I went to CVS and purchased Loreal Couleur Experte in Toasted Coconut. I know not to expect exact results of the color on the box, but I expected something very close to the swatch on the side... which I got... only on the top layer of my hair... the dye did nothing to my bottom layer
that was two weeks ago, would it be a good idea to retry dyeing my hair with the same kit or the kit that is a shade lighter?

not the best but you can see the top layer's color and the bottom is still the same medium brownish color
and should I do the highlights all over?

You should do it.
But you should do it at a salon.
Cuz that looks hard to do.
