Hair colour problem?
I have naturally light brown hair, though iv'e been told its offcially considered dark blonde level 7 or 8. for the past 5 years ive had half head highlights done every 5 months or so with an ashy colour. i recently decided i wanted to go platinum blond so went to my salon and told her i wanted her to bleach it platinum but she didnt seem to want too saying it would kill my hair and suggested i high-lift tinted it instead and showed me an ash colour hair swatch that i was happy with as it was pretty close to the platinum hair colour i wanted. So i agreed to it and it didnt look too bad in salon lights. But when it was all done and i saw it out in natural light, its got a much more golden, yellow tone to it than the ash i was showed and it does me no favours.
What should i do? Toner it with something? Get it bleached now or in a few weeks? Have her dye it again but leave it longer? Is it possible to achieve platinum with tints or only through just bleach?

omgosh are you crazy. NEVER DO BLEACH. trust me it kills the hair. i just got my hair bleached and it took me 2 months to heal it and thats just on LUCK.
trust me girl it sucks, i thought my hair could handel it but no hair really can. + after a couple weeks the color just keeps getting lighter and lighter until its too late.
i suggest you wait a couple weeks and pamper your hair try putting coconut oil in it [sounds gross but does fab for your hair health] and than go back to that lady and explain to her that it wasnt long lasting and she can probably get a stronger formula.
but ya gotta remember one thing hun, nothing will last forever so your probably going to have to keep going back for those highlights
