paypal dispute help, immediatly!?
i recently purchased a tag heuer swiss watch on ebay. turns out it was a fake. so i ask the seller for a refund. the seller wanted proof itwas fake, so i brought it to a jeweler he specified, the jeweler charged me $40. he says he never received the paper. so i started a dispute on paypal. now paypal wants me to fax the paper. but i don't have it. the seller now does, and he claimed he never received it. what should i do? how can i get my money back without faxing them the paper? help, thanks.
Go back to the jeweler, get a copy of the paper. Fax it to Paypal, end of dispute. There's no way you're going to get your money back without faxing Paypal the paper that they're asking for. However, you could ask Paypal if you could send them the watch. I opened a dispute over a pair of shoes.... and they asked for the shoes, so I shipped them to Paypal and won my dispute. See if they'll go that route for you. Otherwise, you're going to have to get a copy of that paper.
