How do you find out the Altitude in Norfolk to calibrate an altimeter?
Got a Tissot for my birthday and it has an Altimeter that needs calibrating - need to find out the hight above sea level in Norwich, Norfolk, UK - Or can you recommend a web site - ???
According to Google Earth, the elevation of the apron in front of the South civil aviation hangar at Norwich International Airport is 100 feet. As pointed out above, you also need the current barometric pressure at the airport.

(the isobars on this chart are hPa,, not millibars. Be certain which unit your altimeter is calibrated in. Better to use the aviation services site even though it requires registration.)
