Question about Rolex special editions.?

Have Rolex ever been commisioned by a third party to make watches for them and not use the Rolex logo. I know about Tudor but not what i mean, what i mean is companies for special or limited editions. If so is there a listing anywhere that list company names and models of the watch that have been commisioned?
